Ok, so I know I am way behind the times, but we finally saw the Hunger Games! We both read all the books last year, but we never decided to actually see the movie till now. Since the books were so violent, I was worried how they would portray it on the big screen, and was apprehensive of going to such a bloody film. We heard good things about it, and eventually we gave in.
I was actually amazed and how they portrayed it, and how they seemed to show some, but a great deal of it was shown from a distance or implied. Some parts were still hard to watch, I closed my eyes and hid behind Kelly, but I was really rather impressed.
