New Fave

Flatbread subs from Subway have been the Mister and I's faves for quite a while. Well. Guess what Subway? I don't need you anymore. Not since I found this recipe for flatbread exactly like yours. Take
that.

Copycat Subway Flatbread

Mix:
2 Tbls sugar
1 Tbls active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
-Combine and let sit till frothy

Add:
1 tsp salt
3 Tbls milk

Add:
3 cups flour till to create a creamy dough
Then add more flour slowly until its a soft dough (up to 6 cups, mine took a total of 4.5 cups)
knead for 3-5 minutes.
Let the dough rest for about 5 mins (I waited longer)

While you wait...
Turn your grittle, cast iron pan, grill, whichever, onto high
Melt 1/4 cup of butter

Separate your dough into 4-8 pieces, depending on size (I like to make mine like a six inch sub)
roll the pieces out flat, about 1/4 in thick (you can go thinner, they get thicker when they cook)
Spread the melted butter onto both sides of the flatenned dough and grill on your hot pan for just a few minutes until they are light brown.
Oala!

  4. Awesome recipe Tiahna! By the way, awhile ago you mentioned playing Ticket to Ride on Teams...at some point you guys should get the Asia expansion. It has two different boards and one of them was specifically designed for teams. It is seriously awesome and TOTALLY worth the cost.

  7. It's not a typical expansion because it's a new board and everything, but you have to have either Ticket to Ride America or Europe in order to get any of the other expansions, because they don't come with all the trains or the color cards. The expansions come with 9 extra trains (which you need for the team play), the board, and the ticket cards, and new rules. On the back of each board is another country, so it's like 2 new games in one. For example, the India expansion had india on one side and switzerland on the other. We have TTR Europe and I love, love it, and now that we have Asia it adds more fun. You will become obsessed!
